My name is Donna Bartman-Masini. Creating with fabric has been my passion since I was a child. I started nuno felting about 15 years ago. I was drawn to the textures and the unique colors that can be created by layering silk over wool. My current work includes hand dyed silk, using both natural and synthetic dyes, fine merino wool, hand stitching, re-purposed fabrics, and scraps of silk or wool incorporated into the fabric to create even more texture. I strive to complete unique pieces that will be treasured for years.
